Eating is out is approximately 1,000% more enjoyable if you can bring your dog with you. There are quite a few restaurants in the East Valley area that have embraced this fact and have dog-friendly patios that you AND your dog will thoroughly enjoy. Here are some of our all-time favorites!
O.H.S.O. Gilbert – This place is a self-described, “restaurant, local nano-brewery, distillery, and dog-friendly social hot-spot.” You’ll love the dog-friendly patio and homemade dog treats!
Salut Kitchen Bar – This is the perfect spot for a brunch with the crew! They have mimosas, wine and a mix of Mediterranean and American cuisine. Your dog is welcome on the patio and they even have a “dog wall” where they display pictures of their four-legged guests!
BLD Chandler – This restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! (Get it?) It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and your pup will be welcome on the patio. Ask them for a water bowl too!
Postino Wine Cafe – There are Postinos all over the valley, including in Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale. You’ll love the bruschetta and wine offerings and your pup will appreciate the ambiance of the patio!
QuartHaus – Not exactly a restaurant but “Downtown Chandler’s first Brewstillery” has lots of drink options and it’s completely dog-friendly inside and out! There are not many places in Arizona where you can bring your dog inside with you, so this is one of our favorites!
Please remember to be respectful and aware when you bring your dog to a dog-friendly restaurant! Give other patrons (canine and human alike) plenty of space and try to keep your dog calm, cool, and collected.
Pet policies can change so you should always call ahead and ensure your pup is still welcome. (Many restaurants have adjusted their hours/seating options due to COVID-19 restrictions as well–always check before you go!)
